CNN Caught Deceiving Viewers - Again [VIDEO]



On site, Nancy Grace is actually just to the left of CNN anchor Ashleigh Banfield. On screen, with just a little position reversal on a split-screen, it seems this CNN producer was hoping we wouldn't realize the same cars passing by behind each of these actors, pretending to be in different locations. 

Some might ask, "Why would CNN fake the news?" The rest of us already know that it is because American mainstream media always fakes the news. It is nothing but show business. It is for-profit, which means that it is for sale. It is a business - not a public service. They are accountable to share-holders and profit-margins, not truth or ethics. They read what they're told to - not what they've personally researched or experienced. 

They are only putting on a show. That show is in support of their own financial interests - only. Like George Carlin said, "They don't give a fuck about you! They don't care about you, at all!" [link]

The primary purpose of their corporate business plans is to hook people's attention in between repetitive corporate messaging. The primary purpose of all for-profit corporate messaging is to take money away from those dumb enough to put their trust in for-profit programming

Advertising/Marketing/PR is a science. It exploits Freudian theory in order to dis-empower the viewer/listener in one way or another. The purpose is usually to cause the viewer/listener to surrender their money in exchange for a false need they'll come to believe in by repetition of the psychological programming known as 'commercial spots' or 'talking points'. 

Most American media is owned by just 6 giant corporations. For the communications systems and media outlets to be in the hands of just 6 enormous for-profit corporations, it's no wonder so many are made to believe that peace is achieved through war. Now we're talking about enormous profits!

Never trust corporate media. Do your own research. Use the internet, before they strip it down so that you can't. Learn how to disseminate fact from fiction again. Do not succumb to the programming of corporate interests. Always question the motivation of your news sources. Until you can establish the truth for yourself, with your own eyes, don't allow the corporations or their government to also own your mind. Keep that space clear of corporate programming. It exists in order to turn a financial profit - by taking from the disempowered viewer.

Sometimes deceiving viewers might seem harmless.
Other times it serves to ramp up wars around the world.
At no time should American corporate media be trusted. Just ask Colin Powell!
Never forget that American media is a necessary part of the Military-Industrial-Complex.

Why is it that the Human Psyche is often too fragile to allow new ideas? 
Why do some fight aggressively against ideas that they do not already agree with?

The Human Ego often confuses ideas or thoughts, for "being" - which is to say that the Ego does not differentiate between ideas and definitions of 'self'. When an idea is presented, which is outside of already agreed upon beliefs, the Ego behaves as though the new and different idea is an attack against the Ego itself. This causes stress and suffering which is only amplified by the Ego's false assertion that we ARE our Egos. This false belief [inflated by consumerism and materialist marketing] leads to even greater suffering - and even more violent defense mechanisms - as a matter of natural self-preservation, perverted by false definitions of 'self'.

A Spiritual Perspective:
Fortnight For Freedom

The Catholic Bishops of America have initiated a two week campaign to fight for religious freedom in America. It is called a “Fortnight for Freedom”. It strikes a large part of the population as crying wolf when there is no wolf. Probably no population in human history has had more religious freedom and more religious support than the present population of the USA. (I myself, as a Franciscan vowed to common purse, pay no taxes. Nor do our local parishes or institutions.) It feels like entitled people wanting more entitlement.
How different from the early Christian martyrs, whom we piously venerate, who became holy and courageous through the limitations imposed on them by empires and emperors. Too bad Sts. Perpetua and Felicity could not sponsor a fortnight for freedom from their prison cells. Now we suffer no limitations or constraints, refuse to dialogue fairly or up front, and just complain that “our freedoms are being taken away”. 
The final irony is - this was initiated by an issue that 98% of Catholic women do not even believe in–contraception. It really feels like bishops are shooting themselves in the foot by trying to divert attention away from our own problems and sins. 
Christian spirituality has always first sought spiritual freedom, inner freedom, freedom from self, freedom for love, and never did we expect governments to supply our “freedom” by any political mandate whatsoever.

His southern drawl followed him to the Finger Lakes of New York State from his native Virginia. So too, has his compassion for his fellow human beings. General Internist, Dr. Jud Kilgore came to Ithaca in 1962 where he practiced medicine for almost 40 years before retiring in 2000. His idea of ‘retirement’ is to still practice medicine - but to do so for those who need it most; those who most often cannot afford to pay for it. Medical Director at Cayuga Ridge, Dr. Kilgore also regularly volunteers his time and expertise at the Ithaca Free Clinic (www.ithacahealth.org). He is one of over 100 Volunteers dedicated to free healthcare for the community - a list which includes about 8 Practitioners, 12 Nurses, 3 Social Workers, an Herbalist, 2 Acupuncturists, 2 Licensed Massage Therapists, and various clinical program partnerships with local schools such as an occupational therapy program made possible by the faculty and students of Ithaca College. 

“I have long thought that the medical system as it is, has not been fair or good to people who are not either well-off or well-insured, and I wanted to do my part,” Dr. Kilgore says about what drew him to the Ithaca Free Clinic. When asked what he thought people should know about the Ithaca Free Clinic that might surprise them, he said it would likely be the vast and various population treated there. “We see people that are working moms with two jobs that just make too much for medicaid and not really enough to live on. We see grad students between semesters. We see parents of Cornell grad students coming from Nepal, and Burma, and China, and Tibet, and all the European countries, who have no insurance...

Laws Cannot Supersede Rights - EVER

According to every foundational document of Western, so-called 'democratic' governments, LAWS CANNOT SUPERSEDE HUMAN RIGHTS

The Constitution of the United States eventually became the groundwork for most of the governments of the world, as it is today. The Constitution of a country is often confused for 'a legal document that gives it's citizens their rights.' This is not the case. Our rights are inherent. Because we are alive, we have Human Rights. The Constitution is a legal document that lays out the framework of the government; the government's systems, functions, constructs and processes. It also acts to reaffirm our basic Human Rights. By laying Civil Rights protections into the framework of a government's Constitution - the foundational document of that government's legal system - that government cannot create any law that infringes upon those Civil Rights. 

What does it mean that the Constitution "reaffirms" our Civil Rights, rather than grants them to us?
Let's look at the language.

re·af·firm ˌrēəˈfərm/• v. state again as a fact; assert again strongly.∎  [tr.] confirm the validity or correctness of (something previously established)

So, if the Constitution is asserting our Civil Rights "again" and they have already been "previously established," therein lies the difference. The document cannot grant us something that we already have. How do we "already have" our basic Human Rights? Our Human Rights are essentially our Right to be Human. Because we were born human, our Right to freely exist as such is self-evident. This is the deep truth that the Declaration of Independence of the United States points to when it says, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Not only does this precursor to the U.S. Constitution establish the need of the forthcoming document, but it also establishes it's purpose very clearly when it continues, "That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." 
TO-SECURE-THESE-RIGHTS
These Rights, which are self-evident!

This worldwide revolutionary document, continues with more beautiful truth, "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

So, what does it mean to say that "laws cannot supersede Rights"?
When the framework of a government's legal system is allowed to exist "to secure" Rights that are "self-evident" - this means that laws are created to protect the Rights of citizens and ensure that our inherent Human Rights are not infringed upon.

Police Use Physical & Chemical Weapons

Under the cover of darkness at about 5am yesterday morning, October 25th, the Occupy Oakland assembly was surrounded by riot police from inner and outer jurisdictions, ordered to disperse, then assaulted with police issued physical and chemical weapons. Early reports from local news casters stated that police on site claimed the tear gas came from the protesters. By mid-day however, police officials had no choice but to admit that their department was responsible for the chemical weapons use.

At this point, the department alleged that their overwhelming use of warzone-like force and assault tactics was a matter of self-defense. "We were in a position where we had to deploy gas in order to stop the crowd and people from pelting us with bottles and rocks," said Oakland Interim Police Chief Howard Jordan. While there is currently plenty of video available online of the assault on the protesters - there is not a single shred of evidence available to corroborate these claims by the Police Chief.

were no injuries. The Mayor calls this
"a generally peaceful resolution".
Many independent reports from those who were on the scene at the time depict police firing beanbag rounds from shotguns, as well as rubber bullets and tear gas canisters indiscriminately into the crowd, in what seemed to be tactical efforts to overwhelm and subdue them. These are the kind of tactics that may be justified in the case of violent and uncontrollable riots. The only violence that has been caught on tape during the events in Oakland yesterday morning however, was police violence. According to any and all video that has surfaced of the event so far - the only riot that took place, was of the riot police brutally suppressing a peaceful assembly.

Though there has been no evidence to support the Oakland Police Department's claims of protesters throwing anything at all, news media has been either too lazy to check the facts of those claims before repeating them - or they are consciously complicit in propagating the as of yet, unfounded rumors.
